Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Auction, which included the work Ritratto by Vincenzo Agnetti. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 63,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Vincenzo Agnetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 182,500.00 (€ 255,271.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritratto von Vincenzo Agnetti zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 63.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincenzo Agnetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 182.500,00 (€ 255.271,92).
