Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tres Mujeres by Victor Manuel was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,763.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Manuel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 319,500.00 (€ 302,041.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tres Mujeres von Victor Manuel wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.763,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Manuel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 319.500,00 (€ 302.041,97).
