A top price for Victor Manuel - as previously expected
The work Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) by Victor Manuel was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 319,500.00 (€ 302,041.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) is the most expensive artwork by Victor Manuel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) von Victor Manuel kam im November 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 319.500,00 (€ 302.041,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
