Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vb 34. 164, Performance, Moderna Museet, Stockholm by Vanessa Beecroft was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,551.35). Admittedly, works by Vanessa Beecroft have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vb 34. 164, Performance, Moderna Museet, Stockholm von Vanessa Beecroft wurde im April 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.551,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.199,44).
