The work Travelling Without Moving by Ugo Untoro was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,402.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ugo Untoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Travelling Without Moving von Ugo Untoro kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.402,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
