Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shower by Ugo Untoro was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,322.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ugo Untoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shower von Ugo Untoro kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.322,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
