Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mengurai Rantai (Chain Analysis) by Ugo Untoro was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,650.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ugo Untoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mengurai Rantai (Chain Analysis) von Ugo Untoro kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.650,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
