The work Pengantin Eros (Eros Bridal) by Ugo Untoro was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,580.39) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Untoro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Pengantin Eros (Eros Bridal) von Ugo Untoro wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.580,39) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
