Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian, which included the work Running Man by Ugo Untoro. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,524.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Untoro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Running Man von Ugo Untoro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.524,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
