Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work The World by Ugo Untoro. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,333.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Untoro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The World von Ugo Untoro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.333,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
