Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kau (You) by Ugo Untoro was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,303.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Untoro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kau (You) von Ugo Untoro kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.303,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
