This artwork by Ugo Untoro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Let's Talk sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,732.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Untoro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem Of Blood #3 in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ugo Untoro erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Let's Talk für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.732,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Untoro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem Of Blood #3 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
