Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy by Tsang Tsou Choi was worth HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,648.63) to a buyer in June 2018. This price was achieved in the auction CURATED: TURN IT UP at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 36,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tsang Tsou Choi war einem Käufer im Juni 2018 HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.648,63) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion CURATED: TURN IT UP bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 36.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
