Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Calligraphy And Photograph by Tsang Tsou Choi. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,715.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy And Photograph von Tsang Tsou Choi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.715,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
