Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy(Painted Circa 2001) by Tsang Tsou Choi was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in August 2020. The price achieved of HKD 37,760.00 (€ 4,080.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy(Painted Circa 2001) von Tsang Tsou Choi wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.760,00 (€ 4.080,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
