Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tsang Tsou Choi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October 2021. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 14,683.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 14.683,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
