Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Tsang Tsou Choi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,675.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tsang Tsou Choi kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.675,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
