Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tsang Tsou Choi could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Untitled (A08); & LKW_15-09 changed hands for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,752.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tsang Tsou Choi konnte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (A08); & LKW_15-09 für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.752,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
