Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work "Skuggad Bläckfisk" by Truls Melin for SEK 6,500.00 (€ 635.42). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Truls Melin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Drunknade sjömän", 5 st. in May 2010 with an auction result of SEK 95,000.00 (€ 9,854.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Skuggad Bläckfisk" von Truls Melin für SEK 6.500,00 (€ 635,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Truls Melin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Drunknade sjömän", 5 st. im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 95.000,00 (€ 9.854,07).
