Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Tulips by Toon Kelder. The price achieved of EUR 2,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toon Kelder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Encounter in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tulips von Toon Kelder zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toon Kelder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Encounter im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
