Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work A still life with pink and white flowers by Toon Kelder for EUR 1,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toon Kelder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Encounter in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A still life with pink and white flowers von Toon Kelder für EUR 1.250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Nineteen to Now bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toon Kelder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Encounter im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
