Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Yellow Blue (Forest) by Tomoya Tsukamoto was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,545.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tomoya Tsukamoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red Yellow Blue (Forest) von Tomoya Tsukamoto kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.545,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96).
