This artwork by Tomoya Tsukamoto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction, the work Shadow and Dots 6 sold for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 72,516.35) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomoya Tsukamoto erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session wurde die Arbeit Shadow and Dots 6 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 72.516,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96) versteigert wurde.
