In March 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction First Open | Hong Kong, which included the work Red Yellow Blue (Dot Girl) by Tomoya Tsukamoto. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,218.75), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion First Open | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Yellow Blue (Dot Girl) von Tomoya Tsukamoto zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.218,75) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96).
