The work Reflection Blue-Deer by Tomoya Tsukamoto was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 102,715.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reflection Blue-Deer von Tomoya Tsukamoto kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 102.715,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96) versteigert wurde.
