The work Carp Swimming In Rainbow by Tomoya Tsukamoto was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 100,936.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).

Die Arbeit Carp Swimming In Rainbow von Tomoya Tsukamoto wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 100.936,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96) versteigert wurde.
