Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART, which included the work Colors of Light by Tomoya Tsukamoto. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,743.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colors of Light von Tomoya Tsukamoto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.743,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96).
