The work Untitled No. 17 by Tomma Abts was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. It achieved a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,219.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomma Abts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiard in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 239,634.44).

Die Arbeit Untitled No. 17 von Tomma Abts wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.219,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomma Abts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiard im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 239.634,44).
