Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled #3 by Tomma Abts was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,351.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomma Abts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiard in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 239,634.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled #3 von Tomma Abts kam im November 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.351,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomma Abts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiard im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 239.634,44).
