Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Tomma Abts was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,332.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomma Abts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiard in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 239,634.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tomma Abts wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.332,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomma Abts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiard im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 239.634,44).
