It achieved a price of USD 315,000.00 (€ 293,542.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Admittedly, works by Tomás Sánchez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Llegada del caminante a la laguna in March last year with an auction result of USD 1,800,000.00 (€ 1,622,644.91).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 315.000,00 (€ 293.542,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tomás Sánchez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Llegada del caminante a la laguna im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.800.000,00 (€ 1.622.644,91).
