Auction result well in line with expectations
The work …the laments are memory... by Toby Ziegler was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,687.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toby Ziegler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit …the laments are memory... von Toby Ziegler kam im April 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.687,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
