In June 2017 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahrsauktionen 2017 - Third Floor, which included the work Hase. by Thomas Virnich. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,187.00 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Virnich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Venus von Milo“., which sold at auction in June 2018 for EUR 4,125.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2017 - Third Floor durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hase. von Thomas Virnich zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.187,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Virnich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Venus von Milo“. beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für EUR 4.125,00 versteigert wurde.
