Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year VAN HAM held the auction Modern, Post War & Contemporary, which included the work Ohne Titel (Wandskulptur). by Thomas Scheibitz. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,940.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Scheibitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Douglas in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 307,200.00 (€ 253,068.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Modern, Post War & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Wandskulptur). von Thomas Scheibitz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.940,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Scheibitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Douglas im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 307.200,00 (€ 253.068,62).
