Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Thomas Scheibitz was auctioned at Phillips in 6 - in September this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,778.00 (€ 1,679.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Scheibitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Douglas in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 307,200.00 (€ 253,068.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thomas Scheibitz kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 6 - zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.778,00 (€ 1.679,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Scheibitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Douglas im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 307.200,00 (€ 253.068,62).
