Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Untitled (8-102) by Thomas Nozkowski. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,133.87). Admittedly, works by Thomas Nozkowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (8-64) in May this year with an auction result of USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (8-102) von Thomas Nozkowski zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.133,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54).
