Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Eggerer could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Three Works: Untitled changed hands for USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,323.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Eggerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweet Valley High in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 44,400.00 (€ 33,003.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Eggerer konnte im September 2011 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit Three Works: Untitled für USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.323,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Eggerer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweet Valley High im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.400,00 (€ 33.003,79).
