Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Five works: Untitled by Thomas Eggerer for USD 875.00 (€ 656.22). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Eggerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweet Valley High in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 44,400.00 (€ 33,003.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Five works: Untitled von Thomas Eggerer für USD 875,00 (€ 656,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Eggerer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweet Valley High im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.400,00 (€ 33.003,79).
