Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Eggerer could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Drawing For "The Wisdom Of Concrete Ii" changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,120.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Eggerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweet Valley High in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 44,400.00 (€ 33,003.79).
