Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Thomas Bayrle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October this year. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Anarchy in Construction (Blau) sold for USD 1,778.00 (€ 1,682.44) - well above the upper estimate of USD 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bayrle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tassenfrau (Milchkaffee) (Cup Woman (Milk Coffee)) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 275,482.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Bayrle erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Anarchy in Construction (Blau) für USD 1.778,00 (€ 1.682,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bayrle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tassenfrau (Milchkaffee) (Cup Woman (Milk Coffee)) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 275.482,97).
