In the German Post War | ONLINE ONLY auction, the work Porträt. sold for EUR 1,663.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bayrle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tassenfrau (Milchkaffee) (Cup Woman (Milk Coffee)) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 275,482.97).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bayrle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tassenfrau (Milchkaffee) (Cup Woman (Milk Coffee)) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 275.482,97).
