Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Still life with yellow jug by Theo Swagemakers. The price achieved of EUR 1,314.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Theo Swagemakers have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2001 the work A still life with fruits, a basket and a bowl was auctioned for NLG 4,465.00 (€ 1,953.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with yellow jug von Theo Swagemakers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.314,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Theo Swagemakers konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2001 die Arbeit A still life with fruits, a basket and a bowl für NLG 4.465,00 (€ 1.953,80) versteigert.
