It achieved a price of EUR 1,015.75 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Theo Swagemakers; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A still life with fruits, a basket and a bowl sold at auction in January 2001 with the realized price of NLG 4,465.00 (€ 1,953.80).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.015,75 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Theo Swagemakers; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A still life with fruits, a basket and a bowl im Januar 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von NLG 4.465,00 (€ 1.953,80).
