The »bidding war« ended at USD 45,720.00 (€ 42,052.98), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theaster Gates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flag For The Least Of Them in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 807,000.00 (€ 704,434.36).
