Auction result well in line with expectations
The work what? (assasin) by Thaddeus Strode was sold in the A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange auction at Christies in London in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 6,119.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thaddeus Strode - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Let Sleeping Gods Lie (The Eggs Cracked), which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 18,956.07).

Die Arbeit what? (assasin) von Thaddeus Strode wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 6.119,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
