Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thaddeus Strode could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange auction, the work 78-79 changed hands for GBP 125.00 (€ 174.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thaddeus Strode achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Let Sleeping Gods Lie (The Eggs Cracked) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 18,956.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thaddeus Strode konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange wechselte die Arbeit 78-79 für GBP 125,00 (€ 174,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thaddeus Strode erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Let Sleeping Gods Lie (The Eggs Cracked) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 18.956,07).
