Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The process of revolution by Thaddeus Strode was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,625.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thaddeus Strode - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Let Sleeping Gods Lie (The Eggs Cracked), which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 18,956.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The process of revolution von Thaddeus Strode kam im Februar 2011 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.625,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Thaddeus Strode mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Let Sleeping Gods Lie (The Eggs Cracked) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 13.200,00 (€ 18.956,07) versteigert wurde.
