Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2014 Christies in New York held the auction First Open/NYC, which included the work Untitled (Paper Plates) by Tara Donovan. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 16,827.68). Admittedly, works by Tara Donovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Pins) in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,510.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open/NYC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Paper Plates) von Tara Donovan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 16.827,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tara Donovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Pins) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.510,51).
