Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spotlight by Tala Madani was auctioned at Christies in London in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 23,940.00 (€ 27,489.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tala Madani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elastic Pink, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spotlight von Tala Madani kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 23.940,00 (€ 27.489,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tala Madani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elastic Pink beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45) versteigert wurde.
