In October this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Horns by Tala Madani. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,680.98), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tala Madani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elastic Pink in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horns von Tala Madani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.680,98) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tala Madani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elastic Pink im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45).
